I would highly suggest downloading to see details in this pic.

Definitely could be more, but I'm content with it for now. Read a tutorial on colors and such and got very inspired since I don't get to draw for myself a lot lately.

There's something about powerlines that always struck me as daydreaming quality stuff. They just have potential.

I love the composition. Colours are very nice, too. I also love the feeling of texture - from the little girl's hair to the fluffiness of the clouds, there is a variety of textures which is not always easy to get with digital painting. And I love little details like that. This is excellent - draw for yourself more often!

Thank you! It felt like taking a deep breath after a stressful week. It was really fun to play with the textures, seeing what I could get.

The texture is great. That's something I always fail at with painting in photoshop. I also really like the perspective and overall feel. And power lines are very worthy of daydreaming. At least they look awesome silhouetted against the sky.
